The metal live stream was shut down due to racist comments. The comments were deleted when the stream was taken down by YouTube so no one knows exactly what was said.
The festival was announced on June 16 and features original performances by artists like Lacuna Coil and Amigo the Devil, plus cover collaborations involving musicians from bands like Deftones, Fear Factory, Quicksand, and more. Slay at Home explained the situation in an Instagram post saying: “Unfortunately, due to racist trolling attack in our live chat, the original stream was shut down by Youtube.
However, the entire show has been uploaded for you to enjoy. Please continue to support the bands in the finale, the charities we are working hard to support, and the community as a whole. Trolls never win when we all stick together.”
