Royal Thunder’s MIny Parsonz, Against Me!’s Atom Willard, Kvelertak’s Maciek Ofstad, Red Fang’s Aaron Beam and Two Minutes to Late Night’s Gwarsenio Hall have returned with their latest cover, Rolling Stones’ “Rocks Off.” Two Minutes To Late Night sticks to much of the original’s sound, however it features a slight metal twist.
The cover features much of Rolling Stones’ original enthusiasm, with a slight metal edge during the bridge. “What’s the matter with the boys who are back in town,” Two Minutes To Late Night said in the video description. “We covered a really groovy straight-edge anthem (lol jk) for you buttheads.”
The socially-distanced cover arrives as Two Minutes To Late Night’s 38th performance made via the support of Patreon. The band had initially hinted toward the cover on Instagram yesterday, telling fans, “Get your rocks off tomorrow at 9:30 am EST or watch this cover right now by becoming a Patreon Patron! A monthly donation of $5 or more gets you early access to every video we make and more!”
