According to consequence.net back in 2021 artist Mick Fleetwood was in favor of getting all the surviving Fleetwood Mac members back together for a farewell tour but following the tragic death of band member Christine McVie, Fleetwood has now mentioned that a reunion is “unthinkable.”
While attending the red carpet at the Grammys last night Fleetwood talked about the future of the band before his performance with Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt on”Songbird” which is a tribute to McVie.
“I think right now, I truly think the line in the sand has been drawn with the loss of Chris. I’d say we’re done, but then we’ve all said that before. It’s sort of unthinkable right now.” said Fleetwood
McVie passed away on November 30 of last year following a short illness. Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, musicians and fans went on social media to honor McVie on the day of her passing. But perhaps the most heartfelt post on social media came from Fleetwood Mac who express their love for McVie on a Instagram statement.

“She was truly one of a kind, special and talented beyond measure. She was the best musician anyone could have in their band and the best friend anyone could have in their life.”
Along with the Fleetwood’s tribute to McVie, other “In Memoriam” performances included Kacey Musgraves honoring Loretta Lynn with a cover of “Coal Miner’s Daughter” and Quavo paying his respects to his Migos bandmate Takeoff.
