Halsey Shares New Kate Bush Inspired Single “I Never Loved You”

According to stereogum.com, last month, Halsey announced her new album, The Great Impersonator, after releasing the singles “The End,” “Lucky,” and “Lonely Is The Muse.” Then, the artist released “Ego, and now, Halsey is back with the song, “I Never Loved You.” As a whole, the song is wonderful by how instrumentation shakes the background with a lovely light pop, while the artist serenades the ears with beautiful melodies.

The Great Impersonator is thematically tied to artists who have influenced Halsey. “Lucky” showed love for Britney Spears and “I Never Loved You” pays tribute to Kate Bush. As for the LP, Halsey impersonated the “Running Up That Hill” legend, along with PJ Harvey, Dolly Parton and Halsey will be impersonating more icons in the coming days.
