According to loudwire.com, The Mayhem Festival is back for the first time since 2015 and the event is set to take place as one day event on October 12 at the Glen Helen Ampitheater in San Bernardino, California. Performing at this year’s festival are Bad Omens, Kittie, Poppy, August Burns Red, We Came As Romans, Suicide Silence, After the Burial, Born of Osiris, Seven Hours After Violet, Darkest Hour, Unearth, Holy Wars, Jinjer and others.
In recent news, Poppy has shared her new single “New Way Out,” which comes ahead of the artist’s upcoming summer tour supporting Thirty Seconds to Mars. Bad Omen’s Noah Sebastian announced that the band has canceled their upcoming summer tour plans in Europe and the U.K. The singer cited “extreme burnout” and the grind of the latest album cycle pushing Sebastian “to the limits of my mental bandwidth,” as two of the driving factors behind the decision.
The revival of Mayhem Festival is being overseen by Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen, who also recently announced the first Summer Slaughter tour in five years.
