Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen and Julien Baker Announce Summer 2022 Tour Dates

Sharon Van Etten is an American singer-songwriter and musician from Belleville, New Jersey. Her first album Home Recordings was released in 2009. Angel Olsen is singer-songwriter and musician from St. Louis, Missouri. She’s known for tracks such as “Shut Up Kiss Me,” “New Love Cassette,” “Waving, Smiling” and “Like I Used To.” She also just had her EP Aisles released last year.

Julien Baker is singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Germantown, Tennessee. Her releases include EP Julien Baker on Audiotree Live (2015), Sprained Ankle (2015), Turn Out the Lights (2017) and Little Oblivions (2021). Aside from her solo work, she’s also known for being part of the indie rock group, Boygenius. The group also includes indie legends Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus.

The artists have announced The Wild Hearts Tour, a co-headlining tour that will feature all three songwriters. The tour will be playing all over North America in July and August of this year. With the exception of the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and Massey Hall in Toronto, the venues will be primarily outdoors.

On the subject of tour, Olsen says, “It’s truly a dream, something to hold and share collaboratively as we get out from under the last few years.” Baker adds on to this saying, “it will be special to get to learn from them as we share the space of performance.”

According to Van Etten a massive goal of the tour is to “strengthen our respective communities and promote camaraderie in the music world.”

In 2021, Van Etten and Olsen released collaboration, “Like I Used To,” a song that truly highlights both of their phenomenal vocals and song writing abilities.

A dollar from every ticket bought goes to support those who have been through incarceration, as part of the tour’s team up with PLUS1, a non profit that helps both social and environmental issues.

Tickets go on sale January 14 at 10 am. Artist, Spencer., will be the opening act through out the tour. See below for tour dates.
