BottleRock 2022 Announces Lineup Including Metallica, Spoon, Greensky Bluegrass and More

Metallica is wide-known heavy metal band from Los Angeles, that has been producing music for 40 years now. The band consists of singer James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo. Some popular tracks of theirs include “Nothing Else Matters,” “Enter Sandman,” “Master Of Puppets,” “Wherever I May Roam” and “Fade To Black.”

Spoon is an American rock band from Austin, Texas. The band is made up of guitarist Britt Daniel, drummer Jim Eno, and bassist Rob Pope. Popular album releases of their include Soft Effects (1997), Kill The Moonlight (2002), Transference (2010) and Digging Up the Scars (2021). Just this year they released their tenth studio album, Lucifer on the Couch. 

Greensky Bluegrass is a five-piece bluegrass rock band from Kalamazoo, Michigan. The band’s members include vocalist and mandolinist Paul Hoffman, guitarist Dave Bruzza, Dobro player Anders Beck, double bassist Mike Devol and banjo player Michael Bont. Some of their albums include If Sorrows Swim (2014), All For Money (2019), Five Interstates (2008) and Less Than Supper (2004). They also had three albums released last year The Leap Year Sessions: Volume One, The Leap Year Sessions: Volume Two, The Leap Year Sessions: Volume Three and The Leap Year Sessions: Volume Four. All of the albums were parts of eight recorded sessions that the band had done amidst Covid.

Recently, the BottleRock music festival just announced their 2022 line up consisting of many talented artists such as Metallica, Spoon, Greensky Bluegrass, Twenty One Pilots, Pink, Greta Van Fleet, Vance Joy, Silversun Pickups, Aly & AJ, Tessa Violet, Blu DeTiger, Hot Milk, and more! The festival will be taking place from May 27 – 29 in Napa, California.

Other highlights of the festival include the wide liquor and food selections. There’s also a culinary stage at which cooking tutorials are done before the audience.

BottleRock is a music festival that is Napa Valley based. It was initially founded it 2013 by entrepreneurs Dave Graham, Justin Dragoo and Jason Scoggins. Some of the bands that were part of the original line up include Cake, Jane’s Addiction, Kings of Leon, The Black Crowes, The Black Keys, The Flaming Lips, The Shins and Train.

Here’s what Graham had to say on the festival,

As fans have come to expect, our 2022 lineup has something for everyone, featuring a wide variety of genres that offer legendary performers with some of the most exciting new and emerging artists in the world.”

Tickets for the event go on sale on Tuesday, January 11 at 10 AM PT.
