Surviving members of RUSH are set to play on an upcoming Neil Peart documentary, Consequence shared. The documentary, titled Neil Peart: No One’s Disciple, is set to premier on September 23 on CBC, and will feature the surviving RUSH members performing with a handful of notable drummers. The film features interviews with RUSH‘s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, as well as the duo playing RUSH material with several notable drummers such as Tool’s Danny Carey, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith and Stewart Copeland of the The Police.

The documentary covers Neil Peart’s life from his early gig career in Canada and London, before leading to his meteoric rise to being considered one of the greatest rock drummers in history. The legendary musician died in 2020 at the age of 67 following a private battle with brain cancer. RUSH are currently on tour in North America as part of their “Fifty Something” reunion tour and are in talks to do a residency at the Las Vegas Sphere. The lengthy run features former Jeff Beck drummer Anika Nilles behind the kit in Peart’s place.
