Power Snatch has released their second EP. Power Snatch is a project between Paramore’s Hayley Williams and the producer of her solo album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, Daniel James. The new EP is simply titled EP2, and features 4 new songs. The tracklist of EP 2 includes “Machete”, “New Legs”, “Born Dead” and “Hell Is a Hallway”. Pitchfork describes the new EP, EP2, as leaning into a 90’s alt-rock and trip-hop sound.
Power Snatch first released their debut song in January of this year, called “Assignment”. The release of Power Snatch’s new project, EP2, comes about 6 months after they put out their first EP, with the fitting title EP1. Between EP1 and EP2, Power Snatch also put out two singles in collaboration with Tiberius B. Those songs were “Training” and “Great”. Also, in between the two projects, Williams and James also released cover of This Is Lorelei’s “Perfect Hand”.
The release of EP2 by Power Snatch comes as Williams recently concluded her Hayley Williams at a Bachelorette Party tour a few months ago in June. However, starting in September, Williams will be back on the road with The Hayley Williams Show. The Hayley Williams Show will be her second tour this year and includes shows at Forest Hills Stadium in New York City on September 16th and 17th. That tour will feature special guests such as Magdalena Bay, Rico Nasty, Annie DiRusso, and Mannequin Pussy.
