Jessie Ware is back with a new music video for her song “Sauna”. “Sauna” is the latest single from her recent album Superbloom, and was first shared about three months ago, with the album’s release. About the song, Ware explains, “I have decided to make this summer a red hot Sauna summer! I love how this song makes people feel, it was made for dancing.”
The video was directed by Jordan Rossi, and was shot in an elevator, which Ware turns into a complete vibe with her choreography and charisma. According to the press release, the goal of the “Sauna” music video was to turn the elevator into a place of “movement, heat, and connection,” and they were definitely successful with their mission.
In the video, Ware radiates confidence, and her dancers match that perfectly, making their chemistry as dancers enhance the video to be flashier and more captivating. The “Sauna” video features appearances from many artists, performers, and other pop culture figures. Munroe Bergdorf, Henrik Morten Lischke, Tsatsamis, Elouiza, Aimee Phillips, Scott Hoffman, Bestley, Isabella Keell, Luke Day, Jake Cohen, Elle + Michaela Yearwood-Dan, Kadiff Kirwan, Jonbers, DARKWAH, Roxxxan, Amann Souza, Tiishue, Vanilla Mulan, Sakeema, and ciaran.at.hotmaledotcom, alongside dancers Jonathan Baker and Theo Maddix appear in Ware’s new video for “Sauna”.
Superbloom was released earlier this year and debuted at #2 on the Official UK Albums Chart. The album was also very well received by critics. The album features Ware’s previous singles “Automatic”, “Ride” and “I Could Get Used To This”. Later this year, she will begin The Superbloom Tour, which will be her biggest tour and her first time headlining arenas in the UK. She will also make stops in many iconic venues in the US, such as Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
