deadmau5 Shares Melodic New Track “Ameonna,” Teases New Album For 2026 Release

Electro icon deadmau5 has returned with the release of a brand new song “Ameonna.” The track is every bit as melodic and thrilling as one would expect of the beloved artist. Joel Zimmerman has also announced that he will be releasing a new deadmau5 album in 2026 which will mark his first full-length studio record since W:/2016ALBUM/ which arrived back in 2016.

In late August, System of a Down’s Serj Tankian shared his collaboration with deadmau5, a bold new single entitled “A Seed” which saw unique blending of both artists’ sounds. Zimmerman’s new EP Error5 arrived back in August as well. deadmau5 also teamed up with Rebuke and Ed Graves back in February for their song “Endless.” Early January saw deadmau5 release his bouncy standalone single “Jupiter.” Zimmerman also decided to comment on 3LAU’s decision to DJ the inauguration of President Donald Trump, writing “Everyone in this business will remember that you stood behind Nazis and convicted felons who would further marginalize the very people who gave you a platform.”

The lineup for this year’s Escape Psycho Circus includes deadmau5, Marshmello, DJ Snake, Porter Robinson, Alesso and many more. Aside from his appearance at Escape Psycho Circus, Zimmerman will also be performing a pair of shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on November 7 and 8. Each show will be comprised of five-hour sets including from his testpilot moniker, a drum and bass performance, the debut of virtual artist DEATHPIXIE and the live debut of new deadmau5 music.
