UPDATE (9/28): Lola Young has canceled her appearance at All Things Go’s DC edition at the Merriweather Post Pavilion. The singer shared the news on Instagram, writing, “I’m sorry to confirm that I won’t be playing All Things Go in DC today. I love this job and I never take my commitments and audience for granted so I’m sorry to those who will be disappointed by this. I hope you’ll all give me another chance in the future. Thank you to all those who listen and care. To all the people that love to be mean online, pls give me a day off.”
Rising pop star Lola Young, known for her radio hit “Messy,” collapsed onstage during her scheduled set at All Things Go festival at Forest Hills Stadium in New York. Her band members and medics reportedly rushed to carry her offstage. Prior to the collapse, she was discussing how it had been a difficult week for her personally having just canceled her appearance at We Can Survive in New Jersey the night before “due to a sensitive matter.” Footage from moments before the incident show Young apologizing to the audience for being “emotional today.”
Young seemed to pass out mid set, reportedly while singing “Conceited,” appearing to fall flat on her back at around 6:26pm ET. The music came to a halt and her crew huddled around her, got her up and walked her offstage.
Remi Wolf, the next performer on the lineup for tonight’s show, offered an update on Young’s condition once she took the stage, “My friend Lola is backstage and she is okay.”
Young herself has since updated fans on her current state, taking to Instagram stories to share a short message: “For anyone who saw my set at all things go today, I am doing okay now. Thank you for all of your support.”
Young had just released her third studio album I’m Only F*cking Myself last week which spawned numerous singles including “One Thing,” “Not Like That Anymore,” “d£aler” and “Spiders.” She also announced fall 2025 North American tour dates back in June, the first of which is set to take place on November 1st in Toronto, Ontario. As of publishing time, the tour is still scheduled to go on as planned.
