Evanescence have announced a new live stream show called Evanescence: A Live Session From Rock Falcon Studio, which will debut on December 5 at 1 p.m. PST. Early-bird tickets for the event are available here for $9.99, and will remain that price until December 1 as it is the week of the live steam.
The event will be hosted from Rock Falcon Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, the same location where Evanescence recorded their latest studio album The Bitter Truth. This upcoming performance is set to highlight the band’s signature sound, featuring mix of old material such as their hit “Bring Me to Life” and newer songs such as “Use My Voice.”
“Use My Voice” was also extensively featured as part of a HeadCount campaign to help increase voter turnout and registration. The track had large rollout campaign, as it was included in a HeadCount PSA and had a preview video featuring the likes of Taylor Momsen, Lzzy Hale and Lindsey Stirling.
Hale has been one of Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee’s frequent collaborators this year, as they teamed up for the election-related “Good vs Evil” and Halestorm’s “Break In” during performance in isolation. Lee also collaborated with Halestorm for the studio version of “Break In.”
The Bitter Truth was supported by the singles “The Game is Over” and “Wasted on You.” “The songs came from all different places, they’re not all in the same vein,” Lee commented earlier this year. “It’s going really great. It’s a combination of a lot of things … It’s definitely 100 percent us, but it’s also taking risks, and I think it’s meaningful — deeply meaningful… A lot of it has attitude.”
