According to Blabbermouth.net, it has been announced that Pantera will headline the two-day festival called The Great NOLA Trendkill, which included performances from Down, Corrosion of Conformity, Black Label Society and other acts. The two-day event will take place on November 20 and 21, at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans and it will mark Pantera’s first performance in frontman Philip Anselmo’s hometown in 30 years. Other bands on the lineup include Power Trip, Crowbar, Eyehategod, Pig Destroyer, Rāde and Herakleion. For tickets and more information, click here.
“To be back in New Orleans with such a package of bands and events is a dream come true,” stated Anselmo. “Besides Pantera and Down, we have great NOLA and national bands playing, Housecore Records and Housecore Horror specialties, horror industry personalities, talented artists, and so much more. Please come down to my hometown and have a blast the entire weekend!” Along with the festival comes the return of Anselmo’s Housecore Horror convention, featuring movie screenings, special appearances, and more, with separate ticketing to be announced.
