A Morgan Wallen fan has been arrested after allegedly urinating on family of four at a concert, NME shared. The alleged incident occurred during a concert at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on July 18, with TMZ reporting that Wallen fan Troy Grevelding had attended the gig with his wife, brother and eight-year-old niece when a man directly behind them, whom Grevelding said appeared to be intoxicated and had been disruptive earlier in the night, allegedly began urinating. Grevelding said it hit him and his family and when they turned around, they saw the man exposing himself. According to Grevelding, a brief confrontation ensued before the family left the concert and alerted security.
Jayson Reed, 33, has now been charged with four counts of second-degree assault, public urination and other related offenses, the Maryland Transportation Authority Police said in a news release on August 12. Deputies in Wilson County, North Carolina, arrested Reed after an investigation by Maryland police and consultation with Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office led to a warrant being issued.

In a video posted to social media that went viral, officers initially told Grevelding they could not immediately arrest the alleged offender because they had not personally witnessed the incident. However, following that, Maryland Transportation Authority Police opened an investigation that led to Reed’s eventual arrest. The transportation police said they “conducted a thorough investigation and identified witnesses who were not present during the initial on-scene investigation.” Police have said that Reed is currently jailed in North Carolina awaiting extradition to Maryland.
This is only the most recent in a string of bathroom-related incidents across live concerts this summer. Noah Kahan was forced to tell fans: “If you have to poop at show please dear god just go to the bathroom lmao,” after one fan reportedly defecated in their seat rather than miss a song. Kahan later made a light-hearted call to Congress to force his fans to wear diapers to gigs. Olivia Rodrigo also recently said that she has “smelled” hardcore fans who wear diapers to be front row at her show.
