According to Stereogum.com, back in February, Converge released Love Is Not Enough, which is their first album in about nine year and last week, Converge announced plans to follow Love Is Not Enough almost immediately with Hum Of Hurt, which is their second new album of 2026. The band is known for letting people hear new songs, while performing live and Converge has been working on a bunch of new tracks into their setlist when they kicked off their latest tour at Cleveland’s House Of Blues last Thursday.
Right now, Converge are out on a co-headlining tour with Poison The Well, as well as the much newer hardcore bands Spy and Balmora. On the tour’s second leg, Spy and Balmora will drop off and the Armed and the Barbarians Of California will jump on. The first stop of the tour included live debuts of “Hum Of Hurt” and the Love Is Not Enough tracks “Bad Faith,” “Amon Amok,” “Distract And Divide” and “To Feel Something.” Converge also played the classics “Dark Horse,” “Broken Vow” and “Concubine.”
