

According to brooklynvegan.com, Converge have curated a new Boston festival named Saddest Day, which will happen on Saturday, December 13, at Roadrunner. The band has put together a stacked lineup featuring Touché Amoré, Coalesce, The Hope Conspiracy, Soul Glo, Year of the Knife, Stress Positions, Wormwood and other acts.
The event will also have a live art exhibit by J Bannon, Thomas Hooper, Nightswim Project and other artists, plus people will have access to vendors, records, merch and non-profits. Tickets will be released on Thursday, July 24, at 10 a.m. ET, with a presale starting Wednesday, July 23, at 10 a.m. ET by using the password SADDESTDAY.


Converge will be playing a few other festivals this summer and fall, including Furnace Fest, Fire in the Mountains and supporting The Dillinger Escape Plan in Denver. Meanwhile, after debuting new music on tour during the spring, Bannon has been giving updates on Converge’s first proper album since 2017’s The Dusk in Us on his Substack.
