Bring Me The Horizon and Babymetak have shared an official video of their recent live performance of their collaborative single “Kingslayer.” Both bands joined together to play the track together while on tour in Japan back in October with many fans reposting footage of their team up at the time. Now, however, Bring Me The Horizon and Babymetal have returned to release the official footage.
Speaking about their collaboration with Babymetal previously, Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes said: “We wanted to do something with them for ages. We’ve got a special connection with them, even though we don’t speak the same language. We don’t hang out or have conversations, but when you see them, it makes you happy. They work so well with the whole idea of this record being cyber-punk-y. It sounds like an anime TV trailer.”
2023 has marked quite a collaborative year for Bring Me The Horizon who have worked with Lil Uzi Vert and Glassjaw frontman Daryl Palumbo, Courtney Laplante of Spiritbox and Yungblud. Babymetal have been on tour with Dethklok throughout the latter half of the year, releasing new material like “Metal Kingdom,” “Light and Darkness” and “Mirror Mirror.”
