According to consequence.net artist Morrissey has a statement regarding artist Sam Smith’s alleged ties to Satanism. On a new post on Morrissey‘s website the artist is complaining that Capitol Records will not release his album Bonfire of Teenagers while instead of supporting Smith, whose performance of “Unholy” alongside Kim Petras at the Grammys had panicked the conservatives.
On the post Morrissey mentions how Capitol Records are not rolling their promises on releasing his album Bonfire of Teenagers.
“Capitol Records (Los Angeles) proudly promotes Sam Smith’s ‘satanism’; yet they consider the honest truth of Morrissey’s factual ‘Bonfire of Teenagers’ to be their biggest threat and they will not release it despite their contractual obligation and promise to do so.”
According to stereogum.com it wasn’t just Morrissey who wasn’t upset because during Smith‘s and Petras’s performance of “Unholy” their set featured some satanic imagery and when the performance was over several people filed complaints against CBS and the Federal Communications Commission, citing satan worship.
Bonfire of Teenagers was supposed to be released this month but Morrissey has previously revealed that Capitol declined to release the project. Plus the artist mentioned that Miley Cyrus did ask to be removed from the record after previously providing guest vocals.
