Anaya Bufkin

My name is Anaya Bufkin, and I am a senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I major in Communication with a specialization in mediated communication and technology. I'm very interested in how messages flow to audiences, small or big, and how technology influences communication over time, whether it is socially, politically, or through the workforce. Music is a big passion of mine, and I enjoy learning about new artists, new songs, and understanding how music influences society in many ways. As an intern at Mxdwn, I'm excited to be an influence to other people who have just as big of a passion for music as myself. I hope that my writings are captivating and full of great information, but I also well can't wait to learn more about the entertainment industry!
