In the age of artificial intelligence, the band Ministry isn’t staying silent. The band has released a dystopian new single titled “Singularity”. The song is about the new fears that have arrived amongst humanity regarding the rise of AI. “Singularity” is the latest single from Ministry’s final album titled Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), which will be released on October 30th through Cleopatra Records. This new song comes after the band released the previous singles from the album “Burned Out” and “We Hate”. 

“Singularity” was released with a music video that features robots playing instruments, attacking humans, doing military work and more. It highlights the scary side of the rise of AI that isn’t as often talked about by the companies that create it. The video matches perfectly with the main hook that sounds like it’s sung in an artificial voice. The main vocals from Al Jourgensen sound like there’s a robotic effect over them, but you can still hear the humanness of the song come through. Then, the lyrics are very on theme as well.
