According to nme.com, rock band Green Day have debuted a new song called “Look Ma, No Brains” during their performance at the When We Were Young 2023 Festival.
The band shared the new track onOctober 22 as part of their second show headlining performance at the music festival. Based on the fan captured footage, “Look Ma, No Brains” sees Green Day keeping their traditional fast, angsty and pop-punk roots but the song also has a chirpy and upbeat feel through the whole thing.
The track is the first to be taken from the band’s upcoming new album that will be their first since 2020’s Father Of All Motherfuckers, which was revealed to fans as the trio played an intimate live show in Las Vegas on October 19.
Earlier this year Green Day debuted the song called “1981”during their set at the festival d’été de Québec in Canada and most recently. the band reopened their Reverb online shop as a way to sell almost 100 pieces of used gear from across their career.
