According to billboard.com, artist Megan Thee Stallion has reached a settlement to end her  alleged legal battle with her former record label 1501 Certified Entertainment.

After more than three years of alleged litigation over an alleged record deal.” attorneys for 1501 have announced that both parties have “mutually reached a confidential settlement to resolve their legal differences.” And under the deal, Stallion and 1501 will “amicably part ways.”

“Both Megan and 1501 are pleased to put this matter behind them and move forward with the next chapter of their respective businesses.” said 1501. In the same statement, the label’s president Carl Crawford did mention that he and his company “wish Megan the very best in her life and career.”

The settlement leaves fans wondering who will sign a new record deal with Stallion, who gained popularity broke out  2019 with the smash hit “Hot Girl Summer” and the artist has topped the Hot 100 twice since, first with 2020’s “Savage” and then again later that year the artist was featured on Cardi B’s “WAP.”

Stallion had allegedly been fighting with 1501 for more than three years where the artist allegedly claimed the company allegedly duped the young artist into signing an alleged unfair record deal in 2018 that was allegedly well below industry standards.

Stallion allegedly mentioned that when she allegedly signed a new management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation in 2019, she allegedly got “real lawyers” who allegedly helped her see that the alleged deal was “crazy.”
