Today singer Lana Del Rey went on her Instagram account and posted long video about how her laptop, hard drives, and camcorders were stolen from her car which resulted in a loss of progress on her book and leaks of unfinished songs. During the long video message Del Rey told her fans how she had car windows smashed open while Del Rey’s car was parked and when the windows were broken into, Del Rey’s backpack and other goods were stolen by the theives. In a statement Del Rey mentioned how she lost 200-page manuscript for her upcoming book from Simon & Schuster and because the manuscript was stolen, the singer has to start over because she did not save her work. Other than losing the laptop, hard drives and camcorders Del Rey noticed how her unfinished tunes have been leaked.

“Please don’t listen to the music, if you hear it, ’cause it’s not coming out yet. And in terms of the book, I loved the book that I lost with all of my heart and put a lot of passion into it. And in terms of the camcorders, we shall see what happens with that, so that is an update that I would obviously normally not give, but I’m worried about it, so you know now that it’s like the third time that this is happened I just wanted to address it. So that’s that, and onward and upward and we’ll see. Thanks.” said Del Rey
