The legendary rock act Rage Against The Machine have been on the road for their Summer 2022 reunion tour. The long-awaited summer tour took place after long series of delays and cancellations, with the original announcement of the reunion tour taking place in 2020. Kicking off on July 9, the band’s tour has allowed fans to hear the band performances of tracks they have not touched in over a decade, including their 1998 song “No Shelter.”
On July 27, Loudwire reports that the band played their classic 1999 track “Born of a Broken Man,” for the first time in 14 years, with the last time performing it being at a show in September of 2008. The performance of the hit took place at a set at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Their set throughout the night consisted of 18 songs.

To say that the rock band’s reentry into the world of touring has been eventful would be an understatement. Throughout their tour, the band has continued to make strong statements regarding contentious political issues, including their wish to “abort the Supreme Court” and their donation of $75,000 to anti-racist and indigenous charities. Recently, their guitarist Tom Morello made headlines after being tackled by security guard at a show in Toronto.
