Classic rock band Guns N Roses have announced their rescheduled dates for their 2021 summer tour, which is set to kick off on July 10, 2021 at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and wrap up in Los Angeles at the Banc of California Stadium. The band postponed their summer tour dates earlier this year due to COVID-19.

Their previous shows in Philadelphia, Commerce City, San Francisco, Atlanta and Tampa have all been cancelled, along with their planned European tour. All previous tickets for this year’s postponed shows will be honored at these events, however details regarding refunds for the cancelled shows have not been announced as of press time.

The band’s frontman Axl Rose has been politically vocal during the quarantine, calling out the likes of Republican officials Rand Paul and Steve Mnuchin. Rose criticized Paul for speaking against church closures on Easter due to the COVID-19 pandemic and stated that Mnuchin was responsible “for 70k+ deaths.”

Guns N Roses official site has also joined in on tongue-in-cheek political statements, releasing a line of  “Live N’ Let Die With COVID 45” t-shirts in recent months. This is in reference to the classic Paul McCartney song of the same name, which was written for the titular 1973 James Bond film and famously covered by the band in their theatrical metal fashion.

Back in March the band attracted some controversy for their decision to play at a concert in Mexico. Attendees for this event were required to have their temperatures checked prior to their entry.
