Nick Cave has announced that in 2027, He’ll be embarking on new tour across North America. The tour is titled Conversations With Nick Cave an Evening of Talk & Music and is presented by The Red Hand Files. The upcoming tour is an iteration of his tour in 2019 under the same name. Variety described that tour as “An extraordinary show that doesn’t really have a precedent: It’s equal parts Q&A, solo performance, career retrospective and an oddly Oprah-style form of group therapy.”

About the tour and his choice to redo this half Q&A half performance format, Cave shares, “Years ago, in a peculiar state of mind, I travelled across the U.S., stepped onto stages in different cities, and fielded questions from the audience. It was a strange, almost desperate idea, but those nights became deeply healing for me. I hope the audience felt the same. Eight years have passed. The Red Hand Files have grown in reach and stature; the topics of conversation have broadened, and it feels like the right time to return to America, a different America from eight years ago, and bring the Conversations… show back. I’ll have my piano with me, play some songs, and answer questions. What could possibly go wrong?I look forward to seeing you there!”

Caves’ The Red Hand Files launched back in 2018, with the purpose of allowing Cave to answer his fan’s questions. Today, The Red Hand Files has over 250,000 subscribers and hundreds of fans submitting questions each week.
