According to Revolvermag.com, following the news of their upcoming Sphere residency in Las Vegas, Metallica has added another pair of U.S. shows to their 2026 schedule.The metal band will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Mohegan Sun Arena in Montville, Connecticut, where they will be joined by Suicidal Tendencies and Spiritbox. According to the press release, ‘Tallica announced the East Coast two-fer earlier today by confirming that the shows take place November 19th and 21st. As has been the case for the past few years of shows, these will be done No Repeat Weekend, which is a style bringing Connecticut fans two entirely unique setlists this fall.
Suicidal Tendencies, who have supported Metallica throughout their M72 World Tour, are on deck as the opening act on November 19th, while djent-pop force Spiritbox will hit the stage first on the 21st. As previously reported, Metallica will be staging a series of No Repeat Weekends at the immersive Sphere venue in Las Vegas this October. Demand for those shows was high so, they added even more dates to their Sin City residency, with additional appearances now taking place between November and March of 2027.
