Shaboozey Releases New Collaboration with Jelly Roll “Amen”

Shaboozey has released new song called “Amen” with country singer Jelly Roll. It is part of the extended version of his hit album, “Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going: The Complete Edition,” which came out through EMPIRE. This expanded edition includes 18 tracks in total and aims to build on Shaboozey’s success from last year. There are six new songs as well as collaborations with artists like Myles Smith and Sierra Ferrell that add variety and appeal across different music styles.

“Amen” is a mix of Shaboozey’s unique country style and Jelly Roll’s well-known sound. This Western-style song, with its strong beat and rhythm, captures the feeling of an exciting musical adventure. For Shaboozey, finishing his album was like having a deep conversation with himself. He says that releasing “Where I’ve Been Isn’t Where I’m Going” felt important because it completed something he started but hadn’t finished yet. The album includes the Gold-certified single “Good News” and “Blink Twice,” featuring Myles Smith, which shows off Shaboozey’s range in music styles. His hit song “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has gone 8x Platinum with the RIAA, gathering over a billion streams globally and setting records on various Billboard charts. This achievement makes him one of the first Black artists to reach major milestones in country music, showing increased diversity in that genre.

The album has been praised by critics and is on many “Best Albums of 2024” lists, as well as staying on the Billboard 200 charts.
