The Sex Pistols, along with Frank Carter, are going on North American tour in 2025. This is their first U.S. tour in more than 20 years and celebrates the band’s 50th anniversary. Fans will get to experience the entire “Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols” album played live. Frank Carter is teaming up with original band members Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock to add his unique touch to these classic songs.

The tour will start on September 16th at the Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas, aiming to bring back memories of their famous 1978 show. This event is now celebrated with a new limited-edition release called “Live in the U.S.A.” It’s a perfect way to honor the band’s lasting impact and their important role in punk history.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting April 4. There are also presale opportunities beforehand; you can find more information on the official tour website. This major tour comes after a series of highly praised performances in the UK, where Carter’s energetic stage presence and genuine punk style have been compared to that of the original Sex Pistols.

Critics have showered the band with praise for their recent shows, especially noting how Carter adds energy and unity. Kerrang! mentions that Carter’s presence helps make the Pistols feel like a true group, which is amazing to see. The Evening Standard calls the tour a “fantastically wild yet joyful tribute,” while Mojo says it perfectly captures their original sound.

The Guardian praises the show, calling it a “thrilling punk rock comeback.” The Daily Telegraph highlights its powerful and intense performance. Louder agrees, celebrating how fun the tour is, while CLASH notes the group’s great chemistry and skill by stating that “Sex Pistols are definitely back.”

The 2025 tour offers a can’t-miss chance for both longtime and new fans to enjoy the unique energy of the Sex Pistols’ live shows. With Carter joining in, it highlights their lasting influence on music and culture.
