Experience world-renowned Jamaican reggae music at Reggae Night at the Hollywood Bowl with Damian and Stephen Marley. The all-star lineup will celebrate the influence and legacy of the Caribbean island on Sunday, August 4.
The Hollywood Bowl joins forces with KCRW for the Reggae Night XXII Jamrock Reggae Night at the Bowl. The KCRW Festival performance features brothers Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and Stephen Marley. Special guest Ro Wyldeflower Contreras a KCRW Host also joins the linuep. The all-star lineup brings the spirit of Jamaican music to the Bowl for a special one-night only performance.
Eight-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and producer, Stephen Marley released his new album Old Soul on September 15, 2023 – his first full-length project since 2016. The 14-track acoustic-inspired album features a stellar line-up of special guests including Bob Weir, Eric Clapton, Jack Johnson, Ziggy Marley, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Buju Banton, and Slightly Stoopid. Stephen Marley recorded the album in a remote studio built in his family farm. Old Soul explores a musical palette that spans a variety of cultures and genres alike, with hand-selected special guests furthering the spiritual journey that encompasses the album.
Four-time Grammy Award-winning reggae artist Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley recently release a new single, “Wisemen,” his first solo release this year. The track explores the eternal search of true love. The single was released on Juneteenth. In February brothers Damian and Stephen Marley launched their inaugural Traffic Jam Tour across North America in which they performed an 18-date co-headlining tour. The tour features a special curated set list of both brother’s catalogs and their father Bob Marley’s classics. Fans can expect a similar setlist for their co-headlining performance at the Hollywood Bowl this summer.
