Porno For Pyros announced the Horns, Thorns en Halos 30th Anniversary Tour! The tour includes a stop at the Los Angeles venue The Wiltern on Friday, October 13, what better way to enjoy Friday the 13th?
Alternative rock band Porno For Pyros returns with their first full tour in 25 years calling it the Horns, Thors En Halos 2023 Tour. The 21-date outing celebrates the band’s 30th anniversary with shows at major cities such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, and many more. The tour kicks off on October 8 in Wheatland, CA and is set to conclude on November 20 in Austin, TX. The tour follows a series of limited shows including last year’s reunion show at the Belasco Theater in LA during Perry and Etty Lau Farrell’s avant-garde nightlife event series Heaven After Dark.
The band has also confirmed that they are working on new music which is expected to be release sometime later this year. Though no official dates have been released regarding the new music, fans are excited as it will be the first set of new music in over two decades.
Porno For Pyros formed in 1992 following the dissolution of Jane’s Addiction. The band went on to release two studio albums, their debut 1993 self-titled record and the 1996’s Good God’s Urge. The band ended in 1998 as Jane’s Addiction was momentarily revived. Porno For Pyros briefly reunited in 2009 for Farrell’s 50th birthday and again in 2020 for Lollapalooza. The band reunited was once again taking the stage together as Porno For Pyros for the first time in decades in 2022. The touring lineup includes Farrell, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefano, and Martyn LeNoble.
