Kacey Musgraves brought pure passion and country charm to the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on October 19th, 2026. The second of her two LA shows, she came in ready to connect with fans and bring the spirit of her music to life. The show featured a 360-degree stage with an elevated star in the middle, numerous special effects, and was opened by Estevie.
Across from the stage, there was a model house set up with a “Middle Of Nowhere” sign above it. At the beginning of the concert, Kacey started by singing “Everybody Wants to Be a Cowboy” through the “windows.” Then, she passed by fans as she made her way to the main stage, greeting everyone from LA when she reached it. The show kicked off with exciting pyrotechnics. Fireworks popped, and she maneuvered around the stage while she sang her hit “Dry Spell.”
Then, she performed “Justified” and “High Horse,” and colorful visuals creating multiples of her face intrigued the audience during the latter. She then moved on to her classic hit “Merry Go ‘Round,” and the stage quite literally became a merry-go-round as its spinning feature was revealed. The conveyor around the perimeter allowed her to circle and see all fans in the different sections of the arena.
She made sure to stop and welcome everyone to the show, sharing how night one of the LA stops was very loud, which challenged fans to beat them. She also called out her LGBTQ+ fans and acknowledged that a lot of negativity is going on outside in the real world, inviting fans to forget and enjoy the night with her. This led into “Butterflies,” where an animatronic butterfly actually flew around the open air of the arena, which seemed to captivate the audience.
This transitioned into her performing numerous songs from her recent album, including “Abilene,” “Back on the Wagon,” “I Believe in Ghosts,” and “Uncertain, TX.” She mentioned how she loves being a Texan and the melting pot of culture that comes with it, specifically shouting out the Latinos in the building. She then invited fans to have a drink with her as she performed “Horses and Divorces.”
Those conversations led into her covering Texas Tornadoes’ “(Hey Baby) ¿Qué paso?” and moved around the floor to high-five fans and give autographs. Just as that excitement dwindled, fans were shocked when Kacey invited surprise guest Megan Moroney onstage to perform their song “Bells & Whistles.” They sounded great together, and Kacey celebrated Megan as she left the stage.
She then performed “Golden Hour” and “Loneliest Girl,” then took a break to speak to her fans again. Kacey joked with fans, saying it “takes a lot of balls” to do what she does every night. Then, a large mirror ball dropped from above center stage. Fans cracked up at this comedic timing, and she sat on it and lifted into the air as she performed “Rhinestoned.”
Once she was back on the stage, she performed “Mexico Honey,” as visuals from the music video projected to the arena, and she traveled along the moving stage, frequently meeting a chair that she would sit or kneel on to pose. She then performed her recent album’s title track “Middle of Nowhere.”
She took a moment again to appreciate her country roots, as well as her ability to explore other sounds and gain support from her fans in the process. She specifically shouted out Dolly Parton and her appreciation for her inspirations. This led into two more songs from her album Golden Hour, “Slow Burn” and “Space Cowboy.” Bright lights hit the stage for these songs, and confetti rained down above her.
She then transitioned into “Follow Your Arrow,” noting how her label did not want her to release that song and joked about its removal from country radio, but appreciating that she did it anyways. At the end of the song, she individually highlighted each of her band members.
At the end of the show, Kacey performed a wholesome cover of George Strait’s “All My Ex’s Live in Texas” as a massive Texas flag fell, and the flag’s colors shined across the stage. She thanked LA for an amazing night as she spun around the stage one more time, and fans were left with a visually and musically incredible experience.
