Japanese British pop queen Rina Sawayama has released her latest song “Eye for an Eye” from the soundtrack to John Wick Chapter 4. The song was produced and co-written by Tyler Bates, who’s also composed the futuristic-sounding scores for all four John Wick films. It starts with heavy synths and leads into a nostalgic ’90s sound that fits into the action movies we all know and love. Check out the tune below.

The John Wick: Chapter 4 original soundtrack arrives this Friday, coinciding with the film’s release. Sawayama’s last release was 2022’s Hold The Girl. The album includes the songs “Phantom,” the album’s title track, “Hurricanes” and “Frankenstein.” She was recently announced to play Lollapalooza in Chicago this August. Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Karol G The 1975 and Lana Del Rey are a few of the acts that are set to play the festival at Grant Park.
