The celebrity romance between Elon Musk and pop star Grimes may have come to an end, as the Tesla CEO announced that he was “semi separated” from the performed during statement to the New York Post. Musk and Grimes both have a child under the name X Æ A-XII, who is reportedly being raised with gender neutral pronouns.
According to Musk, Grimes is currently staying at his residence, with their child in an adjacent room. The entrepreneur explained that their conflicting schedules were a reason for this separation, as Grimes is busy recording in Los Angeles, while Musk’s companies Space X and Tesla require his presence at their new headquarters in Texas. Grimes is currently working on an upcoming studio album, which she claims “is by far my greatest work.”
“I’m just finishing an album, and I think it is by far my greatest work that I’ve ever done. I actually just made the last song for it, like, two nights ago. I think I went into this like, ‘I’m going to sign to a major label, and I’m going to be a really big artist’ and all this stuff. And then in that process, I started being like, ‘No.’ I just literally don’t care if anyone listens to this shit,” Grimes explained. “I just want it to be, like, great. I want it to be unequivocally great art.”
Grimes has also been busy outside of recording, launching her own Discord server this past summer, where she debuted the song “Shinigami Eyes.” The performer also made an appearance in the trailer for the upcoming singing show, “Alter Ego.”
