Pale Waves Release New Dark Pop Song “New Years Eve”

Pale Waves have debuted their dreamy new single “New Years Eve” the title track off their upcoming EP. The Manchester native group is led by members Heather Baron-Gracie (vocals, guitar), her best friend Ciara Doran (drums), Hugo Silvani (guitar) and Charlie Wood (bass). “New Years Eve” is just the third song following “There’s a Honey” and “Television Romance,” which have collected over 10 million global streams since their premiere. Both songs were produced by The 1975’s Matty Healy as well as the music video for “Television Romance.”

The four-piece is signed to The 1975’s label Dirty Hit earlier this year. It’s clear they wear their influences on their sleeve, far away beach vibes and shiny riffs emanate from “New Years Eve” that sound like it could be written by Matty Healy himself. Listen to the new single below.

Their debut EP New Year Eve is set to release January 18th via Dirty Hit and is available to pre-order on the Dirty Hit official online store.

UPDATE (12/5): Pale Waves “New Years Eve” music video just debuted on Nylon. They were recently named to the BBC Sound of 2018 Longlist, VEVO DSCVR’s “Artist To Watch in 2018.” Watch the new video below.
