It’s no secret that fans worldwide fans are awaiting the arrival of Jack White‘s new album. Whether in the rock duo White Stripes with former music partner/wife Meg White or during his current solo career, the Grammy awarding winning artist has created widely acclaimed albums such as Icky Thumps, Blunderbuss and Lazaretto. However with all the praise, recognition and love that White has received from past works, his have been waiting three years for more music from the well respected rock artist.
Earlier this year in March, White had shared with The New Yorker that he was working on new music. A month later he released his debut single “Battle Cry” and signed a global publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group. This past summer White tweeted that he was recording records for his upcoming album in New York this past summer. Well according Pitchfork, White recently added more fuel to the anxious fire of the arrival of his upcoming album during a speech at Detroit’s “Making Vinly” event. During his speech White talked about the state of the vinly industry, his record label Third Man and discussed about the new album. It was also reported by Billboard earlier that White’s “new bizarre” album is “practically done.”
