LA-native ndie rock band Kitten will be performing at the Fonda Theatre on January 30. Since forming in 2009, they have appeared at major festivals including SXSW, Edgefest, Riot Fest, and Summerfest. The band is lead by the enigmatic Chloe Chaidez, the revolving lineup of members have helped put together three EPs and one album.
At 14, influenced by everyone from Velvet Underground, Sigur Ros and Madonna, Chaidez began throwing herself into songwriting, working intensely with her co-writer and musical partner Chad Anderson on honing her craft and then began to expand her musical palette with the discovery of electronic programming as a means of creative expression.
The band’s latest output was its 2014 self-titled album. To experience the band’s song’s live, be sure to catch them at the Fonda Theatre in January next year!
