On Saturday, September 21st, the 2013 installment of Tarfest will take place at the La Brea Tar Pits (5801 Wilshire Blvd.).
The whole event is FREE, and will feature performances from Saint Motel, Nightmare Air, Echosmith, Tapioca and the Flea, and Irontom.
There will also be live painting and sculpture performances from Greg (Craola) Simkins, Axis, William Wray and David O. Johnson.

The festival will include a Lagunitas Biergarten, California Wine Bar, Gourmet Food Trucks, outdoor sculptures, The Poem Store, Japanese Foundation Los Angeles tent with Calligraphy, Origami and Samurai Photos, interactive arts activities with the Petersen Automotive Museum, among other vendors and activities for adults and kids.
