Usually when someone tells you a sick band is playing for free at a swanky rooftop bar, you jump at the opportunity. So…jump, ye people! LA’s own IAMSOUND Records has teamed up with the Mondrian Hotel for an unbelievable collab (with previous free shows presented by artists such as Little Boots and SBTRKT) and this Tuesday’s talent is no different – Chairlift will be performing atop the Mondrian Hotel’s posh poolside Skybar and if I were you, I’d RSVP here RIGHT NOW. Think about it: an amazing view of LA’s skyline (which can actually be quite beautiful at night when it’s the smog is hidden), 20 dollars in your wallet you didn’t spent on admission THAT YOU CAN NOW SPEND ON DRINKS (WHOO!) and Caroline Polachek’s soft smooth voice crooning in your ear…honestly, what else could you possibly be doing on a Tuesday night that would be better? It’s time to stop living your life vicariously through your Facebook friends (yeah you, you know who I’m talking to) (seriously…stop stalking your ex) and go enjoy some REALLY GOOD MUSIC. FOR FREEEEEE. Need I say more?
