According to Blabbermouth.net, Ozzfest organizers have confirmed that the reactivated heavy metal festival, founded by Sharon Osbourne and her late husband Ozzy in the mid-1990s, will return the U.S. in 2027. The latest announcement, which was shared on the official Ozzfest social media earlier today,follows the reports of a U.K. Ozzfest edition for 2027, which will take place at Villa Park, the home ground of the Aston Villa Football Club, in Ozzy’s original hometown of Birmingham, United Kingdom.

The new Ozzfest teaser shows Ozzy with the Ozzfest logo as well as images of the U.K. and U.S. flags, accompanied by the brief message, “Ozzfest will come to the UK and US”. During an August 19 appearance on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, Ozzy’s son Jack Osbourne once again discussed the long-awaited return of Ozzfest. Asked what it has been like putting together next year’s Ozzfest, Jack said: “It’s been interesting, ’cause it’s kind of like finding the old car in the shop and being, like, ‘All right, let’s get this engine going.’ But it’s cool.”
