RAYE has released a music video for her song “Joy,” which appears on her 2026 album “THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.” and has recently been released as a single. The song features her sisters and fellow artists Amma and Absolutely, who each have their own verse on the gospel-infused, disco-tinged track. The trio has performed the song throughout RAYE’s sold out tour, THIS TOUR MAY CONTAIN NEW MUSIC, with RAYE having recently brought her sisters on stage during her headline performance at Reading Festival. They also performed the song on one of the final episodes of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The music video includes footage of RAYE, Amma and Absolutely riding through the streets of London in a van they dubbed the “Joymobile,” with the sisters handing out sunflowers to delighted passerby with one goal in mind; getting as many smiles as possible. As the trio spreads their infectious energy through the city streets, they sing the line “I may cry through the night / But my joy comes in the morning” like a mantra, accompanied by the sound of a powerful brass section and lively string instruments. The song reminds listeners that suffering is only temporary, encouraging them to keep their spirits high in spite of the struggles they may face and reminding us of the transformative power of hard-earned optimism. 

Raye’s sophomore album charted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart, along with topping the charts in Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium, and charting in the Top 5 in Austria, Norway, Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, Denmark, Portugal and Croatia. Her global smash hit “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” has recently surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, with the song continuing to chart around the world close to a year after its release, having spent 30 weeks on the US Billboard Hot 100 to date.
