Immersion, the collaborative project between Wire’s Colin Newman and Minimal Compact’s Malka Spigel, has just released a captivating new instrumental single, “Rotations.” This latest track sees the duo joining forces with the multi-talented Thor Harris, known for his work with Swans and Shearwater. Harris’ presence on the track brings a fresh, rhythmic intensity to their distinctive sound.

The track weaves together Newman’s sharp, angular guitar lines with Spigel’s pulsating bass and synth rhythms, all underscored by Harris’ dynamic percussion. “Rotations” follows lead single “Other Ways” featuring Cubzoa as another compelling preview of what listeners can expect from their forthcoming album Nanocluster, Vol. 2. The record is set to arrive on June 14. The album is a follow up to their Nanocluster, Vol. 1 record which arrived in September of 2021. Prior to that, they released their 2018 project Sleepless.
