Coachella Retweets Old Posts Possibly Confirming Appearances By Rage Against The Machine, Caribou and FKA Twigs For 2020 Lineup

Coachella have been sharing some retweets hinting at several artists who are likely to perform at this year’s festival, including Rage Against The Machine, Caribou and FKA Twigs. Other artists that have been hinted at on these posts include Chicano Batman, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Duck Sauce, Fatboy Slim, Run The Jewels and Denzel Curry.

The music festival first retweeted and old fan tweet asking for a return from FKA Twigs, to which they captioned “Sorry just seeing this.” They later commented “The Energy 2020 needs,” in response to a tweet which stated “All of Coachella is Raging Against the Machine,” in reference to the band.

It then retweeted some posts by prominent artists such as Denzel Curry, Fatboy Slim, and Caribou, who have also played at the prominent music festival in the past.

Their tweet on King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard was made in response to a fan stating “there’s a band playing Coachella named CHICANO BATMAN, which, is clearly the greatest band name of all time,” hinting at both of those bands appearance at the festival.

Their response to a fan asking for Duck Sauce was taken with a comedic tone, with the fest captioning the retweet with “Soooo ducking ready.” They also hinted at a Run The Jewels performance by stating “99 days.”

Rage Against The Machine announced their first shows in over eight years last year, which effectively disbanded the supergroup Prophets of Rage, which held members of the band. The band teased their Coachella appearance on Instagram, which displayed a show in Indio, the city where the festival takes place, in mid April, when the event is usually scheduled for.

FKA Twigs released her most recent studio album Magdalene last year, which followed up from her acclaimed 2014 debut album LP 1. This project was listed as one of the mxdwn’s best albums of 2019.

Caribou, the electronic music project of Dan Snaith, is expected to release his next album Suddenly this year. This will be the producer’s first album project in half a decade.
