According to NME.com, Charli XCX was joined by Kim Petras on the latest stop of her Music, Fashion, Film Tour. The North American tour dates come in celebration of XCX’s latest album, Music, Fashion, Film, which was released in July. Last night, Charli played Brooklyn’s Barclays Center by kicking things off with “Rock Music”, her first single out of the new era. She then launched into “Yeah”, “Apple”, “Wink Wink” and “Persona.”

Elsewhere in the night, the singer was joined by Petras for “Unlock It”, which is taken from Charli’s Pop 2 mixtape. NME spoke to Petras about the collab back in 2018, where she said: “I love her, she’s such a princess!” She then explained that their initial team up on “Unlock It” came together quite quickly and after meeting at one of the late SOPHIE’s shows, Charli hit Petras up to see if she wanted to hop on the second verse. “Snd then it was out!” Petras recalled. “It was really, really quick.”
