Neurosis Announce Fall 2026 & Winter 2027 North American Tour Dates

The Oakland-based band Neurosis has announced tour dates through the end of the year and into 2027 in support of their album “An Undying Love For A Burning World,” which was released in March via Neurot Recordings. This album is the band’s first in decade, with their last album “Fires Within Fires” having been released in September of 2016. It was recorded by Scott Evans (Kowloon Walled City, Sumac, Great Falls) at Studio Litho in Seattle and mixed at Evans’s Antisleep Audio in Oakland. The album’s release also marked Aaron Turner’s first appearance on an album as Neurosis’ new lead vocalist and guitarist. The tour will include dates in Brooklyn, Chicago, and Los Angeles, among other cities.  According to Blabbermouth, Neurosis played its first show in seven years on July 25 on the traditional lands of the Blackfeet Nation in Montana as part of the Fire In The Mountains festival by special invitation of Firekeeper Alliance, a suicide reduction and mental wellness nonprofit organization dedicated to serving community members within the Blackfeet Nation. They will also make their return to Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands in April 2027 to play two sets, having first performed at the festival in 2007 and subsequently returning in 2009 (where they curated their own section of the festival called Beyond the Pale) and 2016 to celebrate their 30th anniversary. General ticket sales for the new shows begin this Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m. local time, with both San Francisco shows having already sold out.

My professional writing experience includes volunteering as a writer for a not-for-profit organization, co-writing a script for a short film, and working as an art and writing volunteer for healthcare workers. I also enjoy doing graphic design work and have volunteered to create graphics for the social media account of an animal shelter. Besides my love for writing, I greatly enjoy listening to music and spent my first semester of college co-hosting a weekly radio show for my school's student-run radio station. I am passionate about my love for art, film, literature, and all things pop culture, and I look forward to further exploring these subjects during my time in college while fulfilling my degree.
