According to Consequence.net, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be released a new live album, Hidden in Pieces Live at the Royal Albert Hall, along with a companion concert The recording captures their 2025 concert at the famous London venue, which is their first ever show at the location, during their Hidden in Pieces tour. During that theatre run, rare deep cuts and reimagined classics were accompanied by acoustic guitars, strings, and piano arrangements.
The live album features 13 tracks and is being put out through Secretly Canadian Records. Fans can order and stream the digital edition of the live record here. A physical edition of Hidden in Pieces Live at the Royal Albert Hall and expanded digital deluxe edition featuring more tracks is set to be released on October 23. Fans can pre-order it here. “In the past, YYYs haven’t often chosen when to be back at it and out there, it often chooses us. It, being the times. We turn to live music when we need that specific quality of depth and light to see us through the times . . . The real alchemy happened when we played the hall, it clicked into place. All the shows we performed on this small tour were extraordinarily vulnerable,” said Karen O.
A 22-minute film, Hidden in Pieces, has also been released. Recorded at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles at the end of the band’s recent 25th anniversary tour, fans can stream it on the Criterion Channel. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Barnaby Clay, the film will also be screened in select US, U.K., Australia, theatres followed by a film of the band’s choosing.
