Phoebe Bridgers Announces Global Lost Weekend Planetarium Experience Listening Sessions in Planetariums

Ahead of the release of Phoebe Bridgers‘ highly anticipated third solo album Lost Weekend on August 14th via Dead Oceans, the album will debut in full inside planetariums around the world in partnership with Spotify. Beginning Monday, August 10th, there will be multiple screenings scheduled at each participating planetarium through Friday, August 14th.

Each listening session pairs the album with one of two original visual accompaniments: either a custom dome show designed by renowned night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi or a unique immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy. On Thursday, August 13th, there will also be over 300 international midnight album release parties for fans to listen to Lost Weekend together. Events are scheduled for the US, Canada, Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay. The special listening events will be phone and camera free. All phones, smart watches, recording and filming devices will be secured in Yondr pouches upon arrival or entrance to the planetarium dome. Attendees will keep the Yondr pouch with them and can access their devices once they leave.
