Melody’s Echo Chamber has announced a new album, Unclouded, she’s also announced some 2026 tour dates. The tour includes a stop in Los Angeles at The Belasco Theater on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

The dream pop artist shared a new song from the upcoming record, “In the Stars,” via a music video. Unclouded is due out December 5 via Domino. Previously Melody’s Echo Chamber shared the album’s first single, “Daisy,” featuring El Michels Affair.

Melody’s Echo Chamber is the project of French musician Melody Prochet. She will be kicking off her tour on May 9 in Austin, Texas with a final stop on May 23 in Seattle, Washington. The 11-date trek includes stops in cities such as Chicago, Boston, New York, San Francisco, and more.

Unclouded’s title is inspired by a quote from Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki, co-founder of Studio Ghibli and writer/director of such classics as My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Ponyo, The Wind Rises, and The Boy and the Heron. He was speaking about achieving equilibrium when he said: “You must see with eyes unclouded by hate. See the good in that which is evil, and the evil in that which is good. Pledge yourself to neither side.”

“I used to feel nostalgic growing into adulthood,” Prochet says in a press release, “but now that I understand that concept of impermanence, I don’t take it as personally anymore.”

She adds: “The music I create unusually inhabits the liminal zone between realism and fables. But the more experience I have of living, the deeper I love life and the less I need to escape. If my heart still belongs to the blue hour, it also feels like I’ve gathered up all the pieces of myself that were scattered everywhere and glued them together with gold like Japanese kintsugi.”

Sweden’s Sven Wunder co-produced Unclouded and contributed to the writing. The album also features Josefin Runsteen on strings, Dina Ögon’s Daniel Ögen on guitar, Love Örsan on bass, British drummer Malcolm Catto (of The Heliocentrics), Reine Fiske (of Dungen) on guitar, and Leon Michels of El Michels Affair.
