Clean Bandit has released new song called “Tell Me Where U Go,” featuring DJ Tiësto and German singer Leony. This dance track, which mixes classical music with djembe beats and trance, came out on B1/Ministry of Sound. It was first played by Tiësto at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami to great excitement from the audience, suggesting it could be another hit for the Grammy-winning group.

The song “Tell Me Where U Go” was inspired by a personal moment for Jack from Clean Bandit. During therapy, his therapist pointed out that he often seemed to drift off and asked him where he goes when that happens. This idea stuck with Jack as he worked in the studio with Jason Gill, Cleo Tighe, and Jake Torrey to create the song’s words and melody. The result mixes thoughtful lyrics with Clean Bandit’s usual style of combining electronic music and classical sounds. Grace Chatto, the band’s cellist, is excited about their new musical style called “Classical Djembe Trance.” They achieved this fresh sound by working with Tiësto—a goal they’ve had for a long time—and recording Leony’s vocals in Berlin to give the track more depth and uniqueness.

Clean Bandit has been pushing musical boundaries while staying true to their style since they became famous in 2013. Famous for songs like “Rather Be,” “Symphony” and “Rockabye” the group has created many tracks that have shaped pop and electronic music. They are also known for making creative music videos, which they’ve directed and produced themselves, attracting billions of views on YouTube. With a BRIT Billion Award and over a billion streams on Spotify for several of their hits, Clean Bandit is up there with big names like Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay, cementing their legacy in the music world.
